I am Dr. Terry Cross, a Princeton University graduate, and a Pentecostal theologian who has studied and written extensively about Trinitarian theology, especially in relation to the writings of 20th century theologian Karl Barth. Prior to my teaching at Lee University, I pastored for 12 years and taught high school Latin and history.
This course, "Serving the People of God's Presence," is a companion to my previous course, "The People of God's Presence", where I propose a radical revision of the structural framework of the local church within the often-overlooked corporate priesthood of all believers. We explore questions such as: What are some radical changes for the church today? What is the theology of ministry? We take a look at the biblical terms used for ministry, and more.
